The
Yellow-tailed Damselfish has a mostly bright electric blue body
and a yellow caudal fin. The tips of the dorsal and anal fins may
also be yellow. These are hardy fish that are good for beginners
or for cycling a new tank. They are okay in groups when they are
young but may become aggressive as they grow. They are ideal for
reef aquariums and will not harm invertebrates. Yellow-tailed damselfish
are easy to feed and will eat most small meaty frozen and dried
foods.
